The Press Cafe

Cappuccino we had was great. Was very nice to be here. The serving cups and service was awesome. Vibe was very chill, I forgot the track of time while talking and sipping the coffee. Atmosphere can bit better. But better than many other coffee places in town.

Dropped by The Press Cafe in Shillong and had a fantastic time! I ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken Wings, El Hango Taco and Penne Alfredo Pasta. The wings were super crispy and packed with flavor, just the right balance of sweet and savory. The El Hango Taco was a nice surprise—fresh, hearty, and full of flavor, even for a non-vegetarian. The Penne Alfredo was creamy and comforting, hitting all the right notes. The ambiance was chill, and the staff were friendly, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some good food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Shillong!

Went there with a friend, it's really peaceful and there's no noise from the main road at Nongthymmai, cus we know how that usually goes. Seemed quite secluded and it wasn't busy today. The food was great,we had a chicken sandwich and the tacos. Coffee and tea was pleasant as well. Great place to unwind or meet up with friends.

Press Café is a fantastic spot that we absolutely loved! The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed outing. The food was excellent—we tried the Filet of Fish Sandwich and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, both of which were delicious. The Peri Peri Fries were another standout, perfectly seasoned and addictive. For drinks, we had a Mocha and a Hazelnut Latte, and both were spot on—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall, a great place with amazing food, excellent coffee, and a lovely vibe. Highly recommended!

Very nice cafe. Its very cosy. The background music added to the cosiness. I tried their cappuccino. It was really good. They don’t have alot of options in the menu like vanilla, caramel latte and in different types of milk. Overall i liked their normal cappuccino as well. Price is reasonable and quantity is also decent.

A great spot to go be productive or relax with a good book and a great cup of coffee or even hang out with friends. The food is good and made with love but I wouldn't call it the best in town as the cost is a bit on the higher side. The tacos were made out of soft shells so it didn't have much stability and fell out of the shell really easily so it wasn't really enjoyable but the chicken sandwich and burger was very well made and tasted great. All of the coffee was of great quality and tasted great and it's definitely the best spot for coffee in town.

For a cafe located next to a bustling highway it's preety good. The ambience is perfect for spending time solo, working and enjoying some laid back rest with good food. A bit on the expensive side for the coffee options though.
